Welcome to the North West England CSA Toolkit, created in partnership with FourteenFish
The CSA Toolkit is written by CSA examiners and mapped directly to the CSA. It enables analysis of CSA simulated patient scenarios.
Use the interactive CSA Overview to break the consultation down and improve your trainee's consulting skills.
Clinical Skills Assessment Overview
The CSA Toolkit consists of a the CSA Overview (a CSA consultation model) and an integral index of educational strategies.
The CSA Overview enables a formative analysis of a GP consultation, and can be used to rate different behaviours and skills. Trainers and trainees can use the analysis to reference educational strategies matched to their learning needs.
Written by CSA examiners and mapped directly to the CSA, the toolkit is accompanied by guidance for use and analysis of CSA simulated patient scenarios.
Trainers can join their local trainers group online community to share top tips on supporting CSA preparation.
