We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated Paramedic Practitioner to join our patient focused and friendly practice team. We are a very supportive team committed to providing high quality patient care with a strong ethos on team working and integrated care. We are also fortunate to be an active part of the proactive Fens & Brecks Primary Care Network.
Job Summary
To assess, diagnose, treat, refer or signpost patients who contact/attend the surgery with undifferentiated or undiagnosed conditions relating to minor illness and some long-term conditions such as hypertension, cholesterol management etc.
To undertake home visits, primarily for acute conditions, as assessed by the GP team within the boundaries of professional qualifications. To use your advanced clinical skills to provide education to patients, promoting self-care and empowering them to make informed choices about their treatment.
You must be able to work within our team in a supportive way and be a force for positive change within the practice.
About Us
You will be part of a team of 6 GPs with full clinical support from an ANP, a Physicians Associate, Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, Nurse Manager and her team, a Specialist LTC Nurse as well as an experienced administration and management team. We are a GP training practice that puts patient care first and endeavors for continuous improvement.
