Newson Health Research and Education is a not-for-profit organisation founded by Dr Louise Newson. The revenue for the organisation are mainly be driven from delegate fees and speaker’s fees and all profits gained from the organisation’s activities are invested back into the business.
The main objectives of the organisation are:
1. Provide healthcare professionals, especially those working in primary care, training and knowledge about treatment options for the menopause including safe prescribing of HRT.
2. Through events and media coverage, bring awareness to the wider public of the symptoms, future disease risk and effective treatment of the menopause and peri-menopause.
3. Educate businesses through training sessions, so they can adequately support woman at work going through the menopause.
4. Carry out research in all areas of the perimenopause and menopause.
