Can you tell us why you gave that response?

  • First class service in all departments
  • The young brunette GP I saw today was the most helpful, sympathetic GP I have ever seen. She really listened and she really helped.
  • Responsive and usually fit call/face to face in.
  • Seen in good time, doctor explained options and made recommendations, gladly received thanks
  • Very effecient and empathetic
  • Always appreciative of our local surgery
  • Good service from Dr on duty, seems to know her work, very patient
  • I was treated very well by doctor Higgins.
  • Friendly, professional and kind reception staff even during peak hours. Fantastic GP ( Dr Reynolds has been genuinely caring, sharp minded and fast responding - perfect and much, much appreciated in these times of challenge in primary care). One last thing - the notice board is tidy and informative! The little things matter too so thank you :-)
  • Because the administrator / receptionist was very kind and extremely helpful
  • Because Dr Reynolds was excellent. Thank you Dr Reynolds.
  • Because the staff and the GPs are kind and helpful
  • Friendly staff, always respond and help quickly. Excellent doctors and service all round. We are very lucky.
  • The receptionist was polite and pleasant and the lady Doctor was very helpful and thorough
  • Monday - I was able to see a Dr who knows me and was able to actually help. As in help the 'whole person', rather than prescribe, to just fix symptoms. Many thanks to Prof Lyon Maris. Having the 'medical stuff' explained, without being glased over or being talked down to really helps too! However, This has not been my experience for an extremely long time. ( way before the pandemic ) I have avoided Lyndhurst surgery at all costs. In actual fact, the place has caused me panic attacks. What needs to be understood is that there are people in your community, not just the elderly, who need continuity of care. Without it, the ability to access vital services is lost. Receptionists and admin staff need to realise the importance of not creating a wall that prevents people with hidden disability or neurodivergent traits from accessing familar practitioners. Maybe ask, "Do you need to see a particular Dr?" whilst handling the call. One appointment with the right person, cuts down on the many appointments or revisits with the wrong one! Or worst still, in my case, end up being detered from making any appointment altogether. ( my husband has to make my appointments for me ) The surgery has been a place of dread and unhappiness for me, for many years. Thank goodness I eventually got to see a Dr who knows me well enough to help!
