Salaried GP – Talbot Green Group Practice

We are looking to recruit a salaried doctor to join our team in Talbot Green group practice for 4-6 sessions/week to replace a retiring partner in September 2020.
We are an enthusiastic primary healthcare team and training practice located just off the M4 corridor near Llantrisant and the Royal Glamorgan Hospital and also have a branch surgery in Beddau nearby. There has recently been property development in the local area and as such our practice list has been growing and is now > 12,000 patients.
We subscribe to the majority of enhanced services available in the locality including minor surgery, wound care/minor illness, DMARD prescribing/monitoring, anticoagulation and contraception/coil fitting/implanon to name a few.
As a training practice we enjoy the energy that training provides which keeps us on our toes and we believe helps retain doctors working in the local area and community.
Across our partnership we have a number of special interests so feel we are well placed to support doctors in their professional development as well as becoming part of a friendly and social clinical and administrative team.
Salary for the post is negotiable but would be in keeping with national salary scales for Wales taking into account the doctors experience and employment would be with the model BMA contract.
