Practice Manager – The Orchard Surgery

We are looking for an enthusiastic Practice Manager to lead the small team at the Orchard Surgery.
With excellent communication skills and the ability to be “hands on” in all the administrative areas of General Practice you will help ensure excellent patient care and lead a positive and dedicated team.
Responsible for the day to day operations of a highly regarded dispensing practice, you will need to be flexible, able to prioritise and versatile. With the GP Partner you will manage a clinical team which includes salaried GPs, an ANP, Practice Nurse and two Healthcare Assistants who are supported by a well-established part time team including medical secretaries, dispensers and receptionist/administrators.
The role includes all aspects of practice finance, including payroll, pensions and claims, managing QoF and ensuring all statutory regulations including CQC and Health and Safety as well as ensuring the provision of high quality, safe patient centred care.
Knowledge of EMIS Web is essential as is experience in a leadership role.
