This webinar with Professor Beverley Hunt, a consultant in thrombosis and haemostasis, along with Jo Jerrome, Chief Executive of Thrombosis UK joins a clinician from Newson Health Menopause Society to explore the management and treatment options for women at risk of clots. From puberty to menopause, a woman’s risk of VTE is higher than a man’s because pregnancy and the use of the combined oral contraceptive pill increase the risk of a blood clot developing.
