The GP Forward View Strategy Group is sponsoring the pilot and procurement of GP online consultation services for Lincolnshire and we want your help.
You are invited to a showcase event at the Sleaford New Life Conference Centre on Wednesday, 12th September to give practices the chance to learn more about what is happening on the digital frontier, interact with some of the best providers available and help with the selection of online consultation services.
We’d like as many practices in Lincolnshire as possible to take part and to help that happen, £300 is available for one member from each practice to attend, to be paid on completion of a short feedback survey after the event. While funding is limited to one person per practice everyone is welcome.
Three sessions will be held during the day, (these are repeated sessions so you only need to attend one) – 9.30am to 11.30am, 12noon to 2pm and 2.30pm to 4.30pm and food will be served between sessions. Attendees will be able to speak with providers in small groups, alongside patients, have a close look at the provider platforms and ask questions.

Online consultations help GP Federations and Practices better manage their resources, making the best use of limited capacity - current providers boast as much as 40 per cent efficiencies in GPs’ time which can be invested in helping people with more complex needs.
Patients will also have greater choice and control over their care as well as faster access to services.
The aim of this pilot is to select the best providers in the marketplace and pilot systems that deliver effective and safe digital services. The initial phase is to work with GP practices and patients to test the value of online services, identify providers and develop appropriate solutions.
