Do you want to update or learn skills in joint injection? This course run by the Wessex faculty gives injection technique for;

• knee
• elbow
• shoulder
• Tennis/golfer’s elbow
• Plantar fasciitis
• Trigger finger
• Trochanteric bursitis
• Carpal tunnel
• De Quervain’s tenosynovitis

The course is completely GP focused but will bring in the expertise of Consultant Rheumatologist Dr Richard Hull.

(N.B. GPs who have never undertaken joint injections should be supervised until deemed competent).

08:45 - Registration

09:15 - Introduction to basic principles and equipment

09:30 - Rotating workshops: Shoulder Knee and Others

10:40 - Refreshment break

11:00 - Rotating workshops: Shoulder Knee and Others

12:15 - Lunch

13:15 - Rotating workshops: Shoulder Knee and Others

14:30 - Refreshment Break

14:45 - Q+A plus other joints you may want to inject

15:45 - Close
