Humberside LMCs are pleased to offer a one day NHS Pension Scheme training workshop for Practice Managers. Delivered by ISM Pension Services, and funded by NHS England and our four local CCGs, this workshop aims to address collective areas of concern, enhance existing levels of awareness and understanding and, perhaps most importantly, ensure compliance with Employer statutory obligations.

The first half of the workshop will focus on the key activities which are highly likely to occur during a typical GP Practice Financial Year, and what the delegated Pensions Officers need to know with specific regard to the completion of the payroll process, including the influence of outsourcing. The second half of the workshop will provide an overview of Pensions Online, and the ways in which its attributes and assets can help NHS Pension Scheme members in making critical decisions with respect of their individual pension arrangements.

In order to tailor the content of this workshop as closely as possible to the needs and requirements of our local Practice Managers, delegates will be invited to complete a Training Needs Analysis exercise prior to the event. The facilitator will then adapt the programme accordingly with the aim of addressing as many joint concerns as possible.
