They are looking to recruit another enthusiastic & highly motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join their friendly Practice team. They are a 2-site practice providing high quality care to 15,100 patients at two sites in Chellaston & Melbourne. The clinical team includes 5 GP partners, 3 Salaried GPs, 2 ANP’s dealing with Urgent Care for patients aged 12wks+, 3 Practice nurses and a HCA. They are a GMS practice using SystmOne
They are looking for the right individual with experience in urgent care, minor ailments and injuries, who is confident in working independently yet able to work collaboratively with other members of the primary care team. You will assess, examine, diagnose and treat patients who need to be seen urgently and be involved in clinical performance expectations within general practice.
Independent Nurse prescribing and Nurse Practitioner degree essential, GP practice experience preferable, however they would consider an experienced nurse with prescribing qualifications from A&E, Walk-in centre and out of hours. We encourage staff development & support training.
Salary is dependent on experience & qualifications. Hours are negotiable. Urgent care clinics usually start between 08.30 - 9.30am.
