A group of GP Practices in Plymouth are seeking a dynamic and conscientious project manager to set up a new service requiring joint working. Our population consists of more than 100,000 people across the city of Plymouth, and the practices are going to work together to deliver an Enhanced Access service, with surgeries opening at evenings and weekends to provide better GP access to patients.

Your role will consist of working with existing practice teams to set up new systems of joint working, including data sharing, to enable the practices to deliver the new service on behalf of Devon CCG. We are looking for somebody with experience of delivering complex projects across a range of stakeholders. GP Practice experience is desirable, and it is essential that you have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work flexibly. Upon successful delivery of the current project it is expected that the successful applicant will continue to manage systems on a day to day basis, whilst also taking on a pivotal role in progressing future projects. For an informal discussion about the post please contact Wendy Ellis, Managing Partner, Pathfields Practice (wendy.ellis@nhs.net) or Emma Rayment, Practice Manager, Church View Surgery (emmarayment@nhs.net).
