Practice Nurse Band 6 or above – Tavyside Health Centre

Tavyside is a rural practice situated in a small market town on the edge of Dartmoor, with a branch surgery at Lifton. We are seeking a highly motivated, patient centered, registered practice nurse; Band 6 or above, to join our experienced nursing team for 28 hours PW, a variance on these hours may be considered for the right candidate.
We currently have 6 GP partners and 4 salaried GP's. We are supported by a highly skilled and committed Management and Administration team. We pride ourselves on our very 'open' door team orientated ethos. We have purpose built buildings in both Tavistock and Lifton. The appointed candidate will be expected to work from either site. Our clinical system is EMIS Web. Duties would include general treatment room tasks, immunisations, travel, health promotion and chronic disease management of diabetes, COPD and asthma. Experience would be beneficial but training can be provided.
