We have an exciting opportunity for a Practice Manager to join our friendly team in Swaffham, Norfolk due to retirement. Our Practice Manager is responsible for driving Practice performance and leading the staff.
What we are looking for in a Practice Manager:
- The successful candidate will be leading our current project to negotiate and obtain a new building for the Practice. This will be a great opportunity and a challenge to demonstrate your business skills.
- Previous experience in General Practice is desirable and NHS experience is preferable.
- Previous track record of successful project building or procurement of NHS projects in a timely and cost effective manner is preferable.
- Need to be enthusiastic and have a positive attitude to working as part of our highly motivated, hard-working and committed clinical and admin team.
- Experience with HR, staff management and excellent communication skills. Great organisational ability and time management.
- Sound financial and business management skills with knowledge of health and safety and employment law essential.

Who are we:
We are a friendly, patient-focused partnership with 5 Partners and 2 salaried Doctors, working along with a dedicated team of nurses, dispensers and administration staff. Swaffham is a market town within easy reach of the North Norfolk cost and Norwich, approximately 1.5 hours from London.
- We are a teaching Practice training GP Specialty Trainees, UEA Medical students and nursing students.
- Practice list approx. 7500, EMIS Web, CQC rating - Good, consistently excellent QOF points achieved.
- We are a member of local PCN (Primary Care Network) consisting of 7 Practices.
Job details:
32 hours a week, Salary negotiable depending on experience, Annual leave - 6 weeks plus bank holidays.
