Aspen Medical Practice are looking to expand our team, with a new friendly, motivated and enthusiastic GP who values patient care and works well within the practice as a Salaried Doctor/GP Partner for between 4 and 8 sessions a week.
Aspen Medical Practice is a Primary Care Network and individual practice with 30,000 patients, a new main purpose built building and twelve partners.
We are a forward thinking and dynamic practice with a young Partnership who are not afraid to innovate and try new ventures. Our goal is to take the stress out of General Practice and bring back the enjoyment and satisfaction of Primary Care.
Main duties of the job
As a GP at Aspen you will be working with the Hot (duty team) led by a Partner each day, either as visiting doctor, extended hours clinic or helping with on the day queries only. You will never be the sole Duty Doctor seen in traditional practices. You will have no home visits unless they are your palliative patient or you are the visiting doctor for the day. Aspen is a training Practice and we are happy to develop doctors who wish to expand into becoming Clinical and Educational Supervisors
You will be an excellent communicator and have good time management skills. You will be organised, keep efficient records and complete paperwork in a timely manner. You will be able to work without direct supervision and be able to determine your own workload priorities. We are looking for an individual who will fit into our Practice team. Honesty, good humoured and the ability to display integrity at all times are essential to this.

We have implemented systems across the Practice which strive to provide our patients with continuity of care. Our palliative patients and nursing homes have a named doctor and we have a robust recall system administered by our Care Coordinator.
