Dispensary Team Leader/Manager – Full time/Part time
We are a 3-sited ( Hemyock, Churchinford and Dunkeswell) fully dispensing PMS practice located across the beautiful Blackdown Hills on the Devon Somerset border with a 7,780 list size that is growing. We have 7 GP Partners and they are supported by a great team of clinical and non-clinical staff who all take pride in the service and care we provide to our patients. The Practice has been rated as outstanding by the Care Quality Commission and is a training Practice for both doctors and nurses.
We are expanding our dispensary function looking for an individual to join our highly competent and thoroughly friendly team as someone who can support the practice manager by leading and managing the dispensary team and continue to develop the dispensary service so that it is efficient, safe and profitable. The dispensary function must be delivered to a high standard and meet the needs of the practice population.
The right candidate will be trained to an NVQ2 as a minimum, will have relevant experience in a customer facing role in Pharmacy or a Dispensing Practice and demonstrable management experience. They will have excellent communication skills as well as a proven track record in providing impeccable customer service and able to manage the team. They must have the financial acumen to be able to deliver services within a budget and review purchasing arrangements, although training will be provided if there is no direct experience in this area.
