GP SALARIED POSITION WITH A VIEW TO PARTNERSHIP
We are a 5 partner GMS dispensing practice serving a largely rural community just outside Scarborough and situated on the edge of the beautiful North Yorkshire Moors but only minutes drive from the coast. We are within reasonable driving distance (40mins from Ayton to ring road) of the historic City of York and have good commuter and rail links. We have a strong patient centred ethic and require an enthusiastic GP to cover a total of 6 sessions per week to join our friendly team.

- Based over 2 main and 2 branch sites
- 5 partners and 4 Salaried GPs
- Established training practice with 2 trainees, Trainee ACP, 4th year HYMS students and student nurses.

- Starting dates: 6 sessions from December 2020
- Session based on average of 12 booked appointments and 1.5 urgent on day appointments
- Share of Saturday working by negotiation (usually 1 morning every 5 weeks if working 6 sessions and fewer pro rata)
- Salary in region of £10,000 per session depending on experience (and Saturday working)
- Appointee(s) to pay own defence society subscription
- Surgeries may be undertaken at any of our premises
During the COVID-19 pandemic we are working in new ways to ensure the safety of our staff and patients. All GP appointments are telephone first then f2f if appropriate. GPs discuss cases regularly to help improve confidence with remote working. Throughout the pandemic we have worked as a team to implement changes with issues being discussed at frequent (socially distanced!) full practice meetings. We value the contributions of all our staff to the challenges we are facing.
