Woodside Medical Centre Salaried GP Job Advert

We are a growing, friendly, innovative and supportive training practice (10,750 patients) in Tile Hill Coventry, which has excellent transport links to the rest of the country and close to Kenilworth, Leamington and Solihull.

We are looking for a salaried GP for 6-8 sessions with the potential for partnership to start mid Feb 2021, but can be flexible for the right candidate.

We are pleased to offer:

  • Salary - £10,500 morning session and £8,000 afternoon + Indemnity + Pension
  • BMA contract
  • 6 weeks annual leave + 1 week study leave
  • Flexible routine clinic times
  • Doctors meet daily for coffee and lunch to informally chat over cases and important topics like what we did at the weekend
  • Open door policy - GPs encouraged to ring/knock on door of colleagues to discuss concerns
  • Specialist interests actively encouraged and supported
  • 3 GP trainers (Coventry and Warwickshire VTS)
  • Administrators highly trained and deal with much of the clinical correspondence, filtering it to pharmacists for medication realignment and GPs only when necessary.
  • Medicines management team, including 4 PCN pharmacists and the CCG medicines management team
  • Excellent nursing team of 6 including an ANP and nurse associate
  • GP team of 6 - 3 partners and 3 salaried
  • QOF achievement high
  • Pilot site for FCP (physiotherapists) with full time physio starting in January across the PCN.
  • Access to Primary Care Acute Visiting Service we have a very low home visiting rate as a result.
  • Active within Go West PCN – Dr Pollard (GP Partner) is the Clinical Director of the PCN
  • Paper-light; Emis web clinical system, Docman
  • Close to Solihull, Leamington and Kenilworth - with excellent schools
