Due to the forthcoming retirement of our senior partner of 30 years (although it feels like more), there is an excellent opportunity for a GP to join our welcoming, progressive and innovative team in Newton Aycliffe.
We are a happy, forward looking PMS practice consisting of 3 partners, 3 salaried GPs and 3 Nurse practitioners serving a population of approximately 11,500 patients. Our focus is on delivering genuinely high quality patient centred accessible care in a supportive and friendly environment for our team to flourish. We place great emphasis on a work life balance with strong encouragement of career progression and development. We are happy to provide full a introduction into primary care with mentorship and regular internal development appraisals to help you meet your needs and career aspirations. Or not…as you wish!
Our premises are spacious and state of the art built in 2012. Newton Aycliffe is only 12 miles from the beautiful medieval cathedral city of Durham, with many fine and pleasant places to live roundabout but still close to all amenities.

In house pharmacists and pharmacy tech admin support
GP training Practice with a strong Newcastle University Medical students involvement
6 weeks annual leave, indemnity paid with a BMA model contract.
