About Us
We are a GMS dispensing practice with a list size of 6,000 patients in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales. Rated as outstanding by CQC we have a history of innovative service development (see www.leyburnmedicalpractice.co.uk ) and two years ago took over the running of a neighbouring practice in Catterick Garrison (Harewood Medical Practice) whose list of 8,000 patients is set to double over the next few years (see www.harewoodmedicalpractice.com ). Both practices are run by a single partnership consisting of 4 GP partners and 1 managing partner.
The Opportunity
A vacancy has arisen for an enthusiastic GP to join our highly motivated team at Leyburn to help us to continue to deliver the range of services required to meet our patients’ needs. The position is for 6 sessions per week and has the potential to develop into a partnership role. You will be joining a clinical team of 3 GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, a GP registrar (we are a training practice), 1 nurse practitioner, 5 practice nurses and 3 HCAs.
