3-4 session GP retainer (Dec2020)
The practice is expanding its clinical team and is looking to add a GP Retainer to our friendly, well-organised, established and supportive practice team. We are a GP training practice with two trainers.
Llandaff North Medical Centre is a long established practice with a stable list size of 6500. We are active within the cluster, LMC and AWMSG.
Key features are:
- Currently 7 GPs (3 Partners, 3 salaried and 1 registrar (Increase to 2 in Feb)
- Skilled nursing team (3 practice nurses including minor illness, 1 HCA)
- Cluster Pharmacist
- LHB provided Mental Health Nurse and 1st contact Physio
- High staff retention
- High achievers of QoF, enhanced services and prescribing indicators.
- Medical student placements
- Previous GP retainer scheme experience
- PiCRIS accredited Research Practice
- Daily and monthly MDT meetings
- Clinical system - Vision/Docman
- Single site. Modern purpose built surgery
- Personal development and clinical interests encouraged and supported
- Start date: Available immediately, but willing to wait.
The successful candidate will be dedicated, innovative and committed to providing a high standard of clinical care.
- Anticipated working days: sessions split over Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. Start times negotiable.
- Salary: £8,000 per session
- Advert end date: 15/1/2021
- Interviews expected to take place w/c 1/2/2021
