Due to retirement, Symons Medical Centre is actively seeking to recruit a Practice Manager. We are a long established Maidenhead practice with 12,000 patients. Our practice team consists of 3 GP partners, 3 salaried GPs, 2 Practice Nurses and a HCA with a full and established complement of support and administrative staff. Many of us have been working to support the health of our patients for decades. We highly value the relative autonomy of the GP partnership model and whilst maintaining good links with colleagues in the East Berkshire health system, we are not part of any PCN. Our practice ethos is that of a strong close-knit practice team, maintaining a high standard of patient care in an efficient, safe and caring environment.
The role of Practice Manger requires a highly motivated, well organised individual with excellent leadership and management skills and proven ability in operational and strategic management. Any candidate will also have the vision and drive to adapt to constant changes within the NHS. You would be a key member of the practice and will be supported by the partners and our excellent administrative team.

Experience required:
- Experience of and success at motivating and managing people
- Demonstrable leadership experience and an ability to promote team spirit and enthusiasm
- Experience of data analysis and of working with complex data
- Management experience in a healthcare setting is desirable
