Practice Quality Manager
Marcham Road Health Centre is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to help deliver excellent care to their patients. The role will start by supporting the Practice Manager and Deputy Practice Manager in their current roles, alongside taking on other responsibilities.
Qualification level:
A level and above
Experience:
In roles where you have had to use your initiative to achieve targets, work in a team, and be accountable for your results. So it may be previous managerial experience, or it may be projects you have managed and delivered. Healthcare experience, though desirable, is not as important as the ability to take on new information, establish the goal required, and develop a process to achieve that goal.

The Practice serves 12200 patients
Member of Abingdon and District Primary Care Network (PCN), which serves a population of just over 30000 people

Salary:
To be confirmed depending on experience.
Job description: There will be considerable support during the training time to familiarise yourself
with NHS systems. The following is an end goal to work towards.
- CQC/Information Governance
Keep up-to-date with requirements and enact any changes that are required to keep the practice CQC/IG compliant
You will also liaise with CCG about support services that are available to the practice in these areas and use them as required
- Competent IT skills
Update website, communicate messages to patients of different demographics, e.g. set up practice Twitter account/social media presence; liaising with IT support to help solve any issues
- Information Management
Managing information from outside organisations and feeding back the relevant points to the appropriate staff within the organisation.
- Timetabling/Staffing/Rotas
Involved in managing work schedules for staff and trainees with PM; this will involve setting up surgeries, managing holidays and ensuring enough staff are in practice to deliver a service
