About Us
Our Practice list size is expanding and we are keen to grow our team too. We currently have 11,700 patients and we are expecting to reach 13,000 patients registered with us over the coming 2 years. We have a relatively young patient population.
We have a great, multi-disciplinary team and really wear our training practice “badge” with pride; believing that everyone can learn from everyone. We have 4 GPs (3 Partners and a salaried colleague) at the Practice, 3 Practice Nurses, 2 HCAs, 3 Nurse Practitioners, Physio, Pharmacists, Paramedic and Social Prescriber as well as access to specialist nursing and social work teams, who visit our practice to see patients such as CPNs, Dementia Specialists and Integrated Support teams. As a training practice we currently have ST1, ST3 and F2 doctors working with us and we regularly host pre-reg nurses. We encourage patients to see the most appropriate person to meet their needs.
Our clinical team are supported by the great work of our admin team with a dedicated Patient Services Team and our Reception and Admin team. Last but not least everyone is supported by Emma Jacobs, our Practice Manager and Mary Harrold, Deputy Practice Manager.
Other info you might find useful - We don’t have many home visits but when we do most are undertaken by our paramedic and our pharmacist deals with the majority of repeat prescription issuing / queries.
About You
If this sounds like the type of practice you see yourself thriving in then the type of GP(s) we are looking for is for 4-6 sessions per week and this will need to include some “duty” days as part of the rota. That said we are a flexible practice and will consider compressed hours, working from home on the non-on-call day, job sharing with another GP applicant but to fulfil the on-call-duty between them.
