Vacancy: General Practitioner Partner
School Lane Surgery, Thetford, Norfolk
School Lane Surgery has long been established in Thetford as one of two large practices in the town. We and our neighbours were one of fifteen national Primary Care Home pilot sites in 2015, so were well-positioned to form The Breckland Alliance Primary Care Network, a group of practices working together to deliver high quality, sustainable primary health care to the population of Thetford, Watton and the surrounding area.
The surgery has an expanding multi-disciplinary clinical team and we are looking for a fifth GP Partner to join us on our journey. The clinical partners are supported by a Managing Partner and six salaried GPs and complimented by a diverse range of healthcare professionals including Clinical Pharmacists, Advanced Nurse Practitioners, Physician Associate, Paramedic, Care Homes Team and other Allied Health Professionals. The vacancy arises as two of the clinical partners approach retirement and a reduction in hours.
As a Practice and an Alliance, we work closely with the Norfolk & Waveney Training Hub to offer the highest quality of education and support to our team. We are part of the West Suffolk Vocational Training Scheme and have a successful research team, recently nominated for a Nursing Times award . As a provider of Improved Access, we can also offer you a flexible working pattern to suit your lifestyle and help you to develop a career interest whilst making the most of living and working in this stunning part of East Anglia. At School Lane Surgery we actively seek better, more patient-focused ways of collaborating with our colleagues in secondary care, developing improved pathways and maintaining our interest in medicine.
