GP Partner/Salaried GP with view to a Partnership – The Blackdown Practice

There is the opportunity for a GP to join our friendly team. We are ideally looking for someone who wishes to be a partner but it is important to us to find the right person who shares our ethos and approach so a salaried position may also be considered, as would a job share of two 4 session doctors.
We are a 3-sited fully dispensing PMS training practice located across the Blackdown Hills on the Devon Somerset border with a 7,900 list size. We are at full complement of 7 partners (5.0 WTE), we are looking to replace a partner who works 5 sessions and other partners are able to accommodate a change in their sessions to increase to an overall total of 5.1 WTE. We have two nurse prescribers, one of whom is in the final stage of qualifying as a nurse practitioner. We also undertake minor ops and provide a commissioned minor injuries service.
You would be supported by our excellent clinical and non-clinical staff and will also work closely with the community teams and local voluntary organisation, the Blackdown Support Group, co-located at the main Hemyock site. We are part of Culm Valley Primary Care Network.
For those new to the area, it is a beautiful place to live and a lovely place to work. The coast, Dartmoor, Exmoor and the county towns of Exeter and Taunton are very accessible. Our location allows you to easily explore the South West but also to travel further afield quickly. There is an excellent choice of schools in the area.
