Birchwood Medical Practice in North Walsham is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our patient focused and friendly practice. We have a very supportive team committed to providing high quality patient care with a strong ethos on team working and integrated care.
Ideally we are looking to fill a full time position working over Monday to Friday. However, we have a degree of flexibility and would consider applications for part time working from the right candidate. We are a GMS practice delivering services to 11600 patients in a semi-rural setting. We are a friendly, supportive and dynamic practice where staff support and patient care come first.
You will need to be a degree qualified Advanced Nurse Practitioner with relevant clinical skills and expertise in order to work autonomously to help provide ongoing clinical care and manage acute demand. You must have relevant experience and be a nurse prescriber enabling you to independently assess, diagnose, treat and refer patients as appropriate. You will manage your own patient booked list on a daily basis in fifteen minute appointments as well as potentially taking on specific responsibilities in other areas of the practice.
You will be part of a team of 6 GPs with full clinical support from the Duty doctor, Chronic Disease nurse team, HCA’s and PCN staff-such as clinical pharmacist / First Contact Physio and mental health worker, as well as an experienced administration and management team. We are a GP training and UEA medical student practice that puts patient care first and endeavours for continuous improvement.
The closing date for applications is 30th June 2021 and the salary range for full time working is £45,000 to £50,000 per annum depending on experience.
