Stowhealth part of Suffolk Primary Care cares for over 20,000 patients, working as part of Suffolk Primary Care, based in Stowmarket, mid Suffolk. We are part of the Stowmarket locality of East Suffolk PCN. We have easy access to the A14, are near the beautiful town of Bury St Edmunds, surrounded by lovely countryside and not far from the Suffolk coast.
* We use the askmyGP online consultation service - allowing us to manage our own workload, with control over face-to-face appointment lengths and timings.
* Our team of doctors, advanced nurse practitioners and physician associates deal with the majority of daily clinical enquiries.
* We have a long-term conditions clinic each week, utilising the skills of our fantastic HCA’s and nurses and overseen by one of GP partners.
* We have implemented a streamlining process for pathology results and letters to reduce the number of administrative tasks per day.
* We have 2 paramedics who perform the majority of home visits.
* Our medication management hub, practice pharmacist and PCN pharmacy team deal with the majority of medication queries.
*We have a Physiofirst service to triage MSK problems.
We have a salaried doctor remuneration scale based on additional roles undertaken, and for the right candidate there may be a view to Suffolk Primary Care partnership.
