We are seeking a Salaried GP with a desire to become a partner to work 6-8 sessions per week.
Delivering good quality holistic healthcare to patients with a wide range of physical and psychosocial problems is very rewarding and is the over-riding ethos of the practice.
We still believe in the well-established values of family practice: our whole team is something of a family and we place a strong emphasis on good work-life balance. We are an ambitious team and strive for excellence. This is reflected in our Outstanding CQC rating and consistently high QOF scores.
We encourage each other in developing different interests and areas of expertise within the practice.
- We are a GMS practice with 7500 patients and 4 GP partners.
- We are a training practice for both GP Registrars and medical students (a role which we both value and enjoy).
- We are a level 2 research site engaging regularly in studies throughout the year as part of the Primary Care Research Network.
- We were winners of the East Midlands Leadership Award as Patient Champion of the Year in 2015 and a received commendation at the BMJ awards in 2016 in the category of primary care team of the year.
- We are actively engaged with our PCN and opportunities for additional hours are available through them.
- We hold educational meetings each week.
An interest in minor surgery and joint injections would complement our current skills mix and is highly valued by our patients.
