NURSE PRACTITIONER

HOURS NEGOTIABLE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and enthusiastic Registered Nurse to join our friendly, supportive and developing practice team and contribute to the development of our ‘On the Day’ team.

We are looking for a professional, forward-thinking, enthusiastic individual to join our busy multi-disciplinary clinical team, providing a high quality service to all our patients.

Applicants must be self-motivated with extensive Nursing experience within a GP setting and must have achieved or be working towards an Independent prescriber qualification.

The main purpose of this role will be to:

Clinically assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate interventions and treatments for patients with potentially complex needs and conduct long-term condition reviews.

Work as part of the ‘On the Day’ team triaging and assessing patients.

Request, interpret and act on diagnostic tests and investigations within the scope of their competencies and formulate an action plan for the treatment of the patient.

act as an autonomous practitioner working collaboratively with other health care professionals to assess, diagnose and treat the conditions of patients attending within primary care.

Provide professional advice to patients, carers and colleagues and ensure the maintenance of clinical excellence.

To undertake research and audits as part of the role.

Ensuring own clinical development and progression via available training opportunities

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions Order) 1975. Therefore a DBS enhanced check will be undertaken for the successful candidate.

We are a rural Dispensing Practice with over 10,000 patients over two sites in the delightful market town of Framlingham and the village of Earl Soham. We are about to embark on an ambitious practice development project looking to expand our Nursing and Allied Healthcare Professionals team and are passionate about supporting the learning and development of our staff.
