We are a medium sized practice (approximately 10,800 patients) based in Alvaston, Derby.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a friendly, enthusiastic RGN/Practice Nurse to join our dynamic Nursing Team at Alvaston Medical Centre, Derby. We are looking for an experienced Practice Nurse to join our friendly and busy team to deliver high quality general nursing duties and chronic disease management. However, full training, supervision and mentorship would be considered for the right candidate without previous primary care experience.
You will support the existing practice nursing team in the delivery of high quality nursing services to our practice population. You will have full support and supervision if necessary to enable you to delivery prescribed programs of patient care, treatment, preventative care, health promotion and patient education. You will only be expected to work within your scope of practice and in accordance with specific Practice guidelines and protocols. You must be willing to learn new skills and attend training if required.
The hours of work will be regular and fixed but from time to time we ask for different working hours to cover annual leave and sickness.
