A 6330 list size practice based in a traditional old mining town with a good community spirit and development plans for a positive future. Situated on the edge of some beautiful Derbyshire scenery and villages, but also within easy reach of Chesterfield, Derby, Sheffield and Nottingham.
Two long established Partners who, along with the proactive management team, who are always open to new ideas to continue the development of the practice. A positive mixture of long serving staff along with newer recruits who all tell us they enjoy working here. We really do care about our staff and aim to provide the care our patients need whilst ensuring our team can achieve a healthy work/life balance. The practice has a good patient mix with young families moving to the area alongside the aging population. There is a great opportunity to really make a difference in our community providing continuity of care; health education and assisting our patient population overcome what life throws at them.
Lots of positive feedback from patients who appreciate the level of care we offer, with lots of tins of biscuits and chocolate at Christmas time!
We are looking for someone to be a key player, with the potential progression to partnership in a truly dedicated team, having influence and a say in the development of the practice. Embrace change, we are not intimidated by the potentially demanding environment we call General Practice and work as a team to overcome challenges together.
We offer flexibility regarding sessions and the recruitment of either 1 or 2 newly qualified or experienced GP’s for this vacancy. We are looking for caring, compassionate, and approachable GP's who gets on well with colleagues, patients and our wider PCN and Healthcare community. We welcome enthusiasm and good ideas.
