We are a six Partner, patient centric Medical Practice who, due to retirement, are looking to find an experienced manager to work with us in Poringland, South Norfolk. A background in healthcare would be considered preferable although not essential for the right candidate.
The ideal person would possess:
- Compassion, confidence and the communication skills for working alongside our patients, staff and wider community as well as the Partnership.
- Financial acumen and an understanding of the dynamics and efficiencies required to make a small business successful, particularly in the context of maintaining high quality patient care.
- A rigorous approach to helping achieve the standards expected by the Care Quality Commission in a Primary Care setting.
- The aptitude to support us in engaging with the wider health community, such as our Clinical Commissioning Group and local Primary Care Network to help ensure that the Practice keeps up to date with the latest changes occurring on a local and national level.
- The ability to think strategically and assist in future planning to help maintain our delivery of patient centred care in the face of an evolving healthcare sector.
This post offers the opportunity to work with a dedicated clinical team who achieve high levels of patient satisfaction, as well as a patient population of over 8,500 covering rural and suburban areas in South Norfolk. The candidate would work predominantly from our large purpose-built premises in Poringland, with responsibilities also extending to our rural branch surgery. As with our patients, the Partnership considers it important to develop a mutually supportive, close working relationship with our new manager and we look forward to welcoming this important new member of the team.
If you feel that you have the qualities and skills essential for this post and would enjoy the challenges and rewards that it will bring, please email Wayne Rawlings Practice Manager, wayne.rawlings@nhs.net for an application pack.
