Practice: Essex House Medical Centre & Tawstock Medical Centre
Vacancy: Salaried GP with potential of Partnership
Sessions: 6-8 sessions
Salary: Competitive
This is an exciting opportunity to work with 2 GP Practices within Chard. Essex House Medical Centre and Tawstock Medical Centre are looking for a like-minded individual to join our teams. With staff and patient welfare are the forefront of everything we do, the teams are driven to provide an excellent service to the ever-growing population of Chard and surrounding areas.
The practices started collaborating to maintain resilience, focussing on re-establishing a work/ life balance for our hard-working teams and providing a sustainable, high-quality service for our patients.
With acute, on the day care being delivered by our urgent care hub, the clinicians have the time to focus on our most complex patients in their routine clinics.
Based within the South Somerset countryside, Chard still maintains a small town feel and the practices are part of a close-knit community. On the border of both Devon and Dorset, Chard benefits from good transport links to Taunton and Yeovil, whilst still not being too far from the Jurassic Coast.
In recent years, Chard has seen an unprecedented increase in patient list size, with more than 3000 patients joining the Practices in 7 years. With more developments on the horizon, this is an exciting time to be joining the area.
We are looking for a salaried GP or Partner to work across both Practices and are willing to wait for the right candidate.
Job shares will be considered, and areas of special interest are welcomed.
