Practice Nurse – Talbot Green Group Practice

Following a restructure the practice is looking to employ a Band 6 nurse on a full time basis, but part time will be considered.
We are a forward thinking team who are looking to expand our nursing services to cope with the ever increasing population in the area.
We are looking for a energetic, enthusiastic and dedicated new member to the team to evolve with our team and services.
You will be joining an established, experienced team of 2 Practice Nurses and 2 Health Care Assistance who are committed to the future vision of the practice. Covering 2 sites, one in Talbot Green and the branch site in Beddau, flexibility is key.
Main Duties-
The ideal candidate would carry out the following duties-
- Childhood immunisation.
- Family planning and women's health, including smears.
- Travel health advise and vaccinations.
- Chronic disease management (ideally have been trained in asthma and diabetes).
- Wound Management.

With focus on chronic disease management at a nurse led level, this would prove an exciting opportunity to develop your skills for the future. Training will be provided where necessary for any of the above skills.
