Cleevelands Medical Centre is a thriving practice in a new state of the art building just to the north of Cheltenham. As a practice we pride ourselves on our high standards, delivering the best care for everyone and we foster a culture of learning and mutual support. We particularly focus on maintaining a good work life balance for our staff, whist still providing an excellent service for our patient’s population of approximately 11,000 patients.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and reliable salaried doctor who shares these values, ideally for 4-8 sessions a week, with the possibility of partnership in the future. If successful you would be joining a supportive team of 5 partners, 4 salaried doctors, clinical pharmacists, phlebotomists, excellent administrative team and our fantastic nurses who not only manage all our chronic disease patients, but also prescribe and see minor illnesses.
Cleevelands have a culture of high standards of quality and safe care for our patients, consistently scoring highly in QOF, Family and Friends feedback and our most recent CQC inspection in February 2020 rated the practice as “Good”. We are part of, and play a key role within, the Cheltenham Peripheral Primary Care Network whilst also having excellent links with other PCN’s.
We are a designated training practice for GP registrars and play an active role in Primary Care Research Network also. We are committed to developing all our staff, holding regular team meetings on a rota of different topics and provide protected comprehensive training time for the whole practice staff. We offer mentoring to any newly qualified GPs looking for their first role outside of training and have links with the university to expand opportunities for further education in all disciplines.
We have a great integrated and cohesive team of staff who are passionate about patient care, general practice and the roles they fulfil. We have a strong team approach and are a very sociable practice holding daily coffee sessions and gatherings outside of work.
