Practice Manager
Chet Valley Medical Practice is a friendly and well established 7 partner Medical Practice set within rural South Norfolk.
We are based from a single practice premise that is modern, purpose built and hosts numerous services to bring safe high quality care to patients.
Due to retirement, we are looking to fulfil the pivotal role of Practice Manager within our organisation. The right candidate will be a highly accomplished manager with excellent people skills and preferably an NHS/Healthcare background, although not essential.
The ideal candidate will have the following abilities:
- A balanced and knowledgeable approach to communicating at all levels and with patients and staff alike.
- Proven financial acumen and an understanding of the dynamics and efficiencies required to make a small business build upon its successes and grow while delivering the needs of patients.
- Fastidious approach to maintaining and improving standards expected by those local and statutory bodies empowered to monitor primary care. In particular CQC Requirements and Monitoring framework.
- To be the figure head of the practice to negotiate and work within the wider healthcare economy including Norfolk and Waveney Clinical Commissioning Group and local Primary Care Network to ensure the practice properly manages both opportunities and pressures.
- To be a strong but thoughtful leader on a day to day basis but also to help plan strategically for the longer term, therefore ensuring the provision of patient centred care in an ever changing healthcare sector.
