We are excited to welcome a new Salaried GP to join our forward-thinking, and friendly GMS dispensing practice in the market town of Thirsk.
We are a stable practice of 8500 patients and an experienced team of 5 partners and 3 salaried GPs, along with our excellent practice nurses, ANP, Healthcare Assistants, PCN Physiotherapist, Pharmacist, and a hugely supportive administrative team.
We greatly value team working and well-being. We run the on-call team with two GPs daily, and we place high importance on meeting at lunchtimes for a coffee and catch up, which also provides opportunities to share learning and education. Well-being events have included a virtual team coast-to-coast challenge, and local Park Run takeovers - running not required!
We have been approved as a training practice and plan to take GP Trainees in the near future.
We are a HYMS Medical Student Teaching Practice and there are opportunities to be involved in the teaching of a small number of students who are placed with us throughout their 4th year of training. Last year our student nominated us for, and we subsequently won, a Team Excellence Award.

- Active member of our PCN, Hambleton South - one of our partners is Clinical Director of the PCN, and LMC Chair North Yorkshire
- High QOF achieving practice
- Minimum of 5 sessions
- Start date is negotiable
- Supportive of specialist interests and informal mentoring with a yearly in-house appraisal
