GP Partner – Bridport Medical Centre

Due to partner retirement we are seeking a replacement GP Partner to join Ammonite Health Partnership, to work at Bridport Medical Centre, Pound Piece Surgery (Maiden Newton) or Tunnel Road Surgery (Beaminster). Specialist interest in frailty, cancer and end of life care would be desirable (but optional) interests as the outgoing partner was clinical lead for these areas as would be a potential interest in registrar and other staff training.
We are a progressive 9 partner, training and dispensing practice in beautiful West Dorset, covering a wide area that includes several attractive market towns and many villages scattered amongst un-paralleled and varied coastal and rural scenery. A new partner could work between 4-8 sessions per week and would be welcomed into an enthusiastic, cohesive and very sociable team, with flexible, family friendly working conditions and an above average remuneration.
Overview of Ammonite Health Partnership
Current team includes: 9 GP partners, 3 Salaried GPs, 2 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Visiting Paramedics, 3 PCN pharmacists, PCN social prescribing team, with comprehensive PCN based frailty and community care cover.
A GP led triage hub contributes to workload management, to reduce workload and maximise clinically relevant face to face consultations. An experienced workflow team minimises document processing with pharmacist input for discharge and other medication management.
Ammonite Health Partnership is a member of Jurassic PCN, covering approximately 50% of the PCN patient population.
