We have a fantastic opportunity to join our thriving, outstanding practice as a Practice Manager. This opportunity has arisen, and we are looking for an experienced practice manager to develop into this role with an excellent, stable team.

We are looking for someone who will lead the practice ensuring that we continue to deliver high standards of care and team working which we have become known and respected for by patients and other local practices. Your passion for patient services and supporting the team must match ours and we want you to have a good insight into IT, finance, and premises.

You will be responsible for service improvement and delivery of key targets across the full range of clinical and administrative areas within the practice. You need to be organised and get on well with everyone using your excellent interpersonal skills.

Sett Valley Medical Centre is a semi-rural 3 partner practice caring for 10,500 patients, situated in the High Peak of Derbyshire, on the edge of the Peak District National Park, close to Stockport with excellent road and rail links to Manchester.

We are based in a modern purpose-built surgery and have a strong and active patient participation group, and good community health care links. The surgery is paper light and uses EMIS Web.

Sett Valley Medical Centre welcomes applications from candidates who have excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills and are able to demonstrate knowledge of business processes, finance, HR and IT. Previous NHS or General Practice experience is not an essential requirement, so this truly is a great opportunity to make your move into working in General Practice.

All partners have key roles, and we are supported by an excellent administrative and clinical team. So, if you have the vision, willingness, and drive to adapt and lead the practice including the new ways of working of Primary Care Networks, take a look at the full practice profile and job description to find out more.

The successful applicant will be expected to meet the English language fluency requirements as outlined in the Immigration Act 2016.

This role attracts a generous NHS pension and annual leave entitlement.
