A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our forward-thinking practice. Scott Road is a busy town centre GP practice with a list size of just under 11,000 patients. Our vision is simple; To achieve the best possible health and wellbeing for our patients; in order to do this we are looking at redefining our staffing model to create a position for a talented ANP.
We have an incredibly supportive team of 4 Partners and 3 Salaried GPs and provide a full range of services under the PMS Contract which include minor surgery, sexual health, maternity services, and host a wide range of on-site activities such as retinal screening, social prescribing, first contact physio, counselling, respiratory clinics, diabetes prevention programme and long-term condition mental health worker.
We are looking for a dynamic individual who can work within our ‘Same Day Care’ department which is responsible for triage, urgent care, minor injuries and illness. An ANP, Minor Illness and Prescribing qualification is essential, and experience of mental health, minor injuries and children is beneficial.
You will be working alongside a highly qualified nursing team to provide day to day leadership for urgent care and to deliver daily clinics for non-routine appointments.
