We have a unique and interesting opportunity to join our small and friendly, yet highly efficient Executive team. Working from home, Executive Officers support the Committee in its functions as the statutory representative body for the GPs working in 105 practices across Norfolk and Waveney.

As the LMC is a key stakeholder the post holder is to ensure that local commissioners effectively consult with the LMC on the development and amendment of locally commissioned services, and lead on this consultation for the LMC. The post holder is also responsible for ensuring that constituents are supported in their queries relating to the content and delivery of Local and Directed Enhanced Services.

The post holder will liaise with the ICB and responsible LMC Honorary Officer (HO) to identify issues practices are experiencing with other providers' delivery of their contract and work with the HO, ICB and practices to find solutions to overcoming these effectively and promptly.

The post holder must be able to work from home in a confidential environment. The LMC will provide appropriate IT, and office furniture if required. To support a healthy work life balance the post holder will have some flexibility in managing their working hours to meet the requirements of the role, however attendance at key meetings, including the monthly Committee meeting, when appropriate, is essential.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate they meet the essential criteria, and whilst meeting the desirable criteria would be an advantage, the succesful candidate will be actively supported in their development.

A wealth of useful information about the LMC is available on our website.
