Townhead Surgery is a rural, Dispensing Practice. We are a 10 doctor practice, with a list size of 9,500 patients. The Surgery is situated in the beautiful market town of Settle in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales. It is just 16 miles North West of Skipton, has a railway station with easy links to Leeds and Lancaster. Settle and the surrounding area has a selection of highly ranked comprehensive and independent schools for all ages.
We pride ourselves in having excellent in-house clinical support, including an experienced Nursing team comprising of 3 Senior Practice Nurses, 5 Health Care Assistants, First Contact Physiotherapists, Social Prescribers, Practice Pharmacists and Technicians, Mental Health Coach and Alcohol Counsellor.
Townhead Surgery is a Dispensing Practice, with its own Dispensing team and a comprehensive Admin Support team. There is a Health Centre based next to the Practice which houses services such as Midwifery, Physiotherapy, Speech and Language, Podiatry and Orthotics.
