Cannington Health Centre near Bridgwater, Somerset have an opportunity for a Practice Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team. We are offering a minimum of 16 hours a week to the successful candidate who will join the surgery and be a key role in the clinical team.
We are a busy and very friendly GP practice situated in the village of Cannington on the west side of Bridgwater. We serve a list size of 5,200 patients in the surrounding villages of the Quantock Hills. You will fulfil a key role in our clinical team of four GP partners, two Practice Nurses, HCA and Phlebotomist. We take pride and strive on high patient quality care and service, team work and are a welcoming and professional practice.
Successful candidates will ideally be experienced in all treatment room procedures including vaccination and immunisation, dressings and cervical cytology. Long-term conditions management will form part of the role, therefore qualifications and experience in this area are essential. Applications from candidates with experience of any of the long-term conditions of diabetes, COPD and asthma are welcome.
We are looking for a flexible, reliable and confident team player with the ability to cover holidays, sickness and winter flu clinics. The ideal candidate should meet the requirements set out in the Job Description. Training will be offered to the right candidate to develop their skill set relevant to the GP practice. Salary is negotiable dependent on experience.
