The Milton Surgery serves around 9000 patients in Weston Super Mare and is part of Pier Health partnership. The team is led by four young(ish) partners and has a longstanding excellent reputation in the town.
We are looking for a GP to join our friendly team. We believe in providing excellent, modern, high-quality care to our patients, with good old fashioned values. As a team we support each other and work closely together. We meet every day at lunchtime for a clinical meeting to discuss clinical cases, as well as to have a gossip about what people are up to at the weekends or for their holidays.
We try and make the workplace as fun as it can be, in the challenging environment that we all work in the NHS. Our annual Christmas party is always a highlight of the year – ranging from murder mystery dinners to medieval banquets. When doctors have come to work at Milton they have rarely wanted to leave – 6 out of our 7 GPs trained at the Milton surgery and stayed on!
Whilst we really value the small team environment in which we work, we are also pleased to be part of a larger organisation in Pier health Home - Pier Health. This gives us the resilience and opportunities that come from working in a larger organisation, whilst being able to retain our smaller practice teams.
