Salaried GP or Partner – Quantock Vale Surgery

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated GP, either as a partner or on a salaried basis for 4 to 6 sessions.
We are a friendly semi-rural dispensing GMS practice offering a responsive service to 5800 patients.
We operate a named patient list for each Doctor.
The practice is set in Bishops Lydeard which is on the outskirts of Taunton and is known for its steam railway. It is a beautiful and relaxing place to practice medicine from and become part of the community.
We are located so that we have easy access to Taunton, Minehead, Wellington and Bridgwater. We are in range of good local schools.
Our patients are respectful and their feedback continues to be extremely positive about the service we offer. Our last CQC inspection was rated as good. We consistently achieve high QOF scores.
We have a low number of visits.
Our clinical team: 3 full time equivalent GPs, 1 prescribing nurse practitioner, 3 practice nurses, 1 phlebotomist and access to PCN attached staff (MSK practitioners, clinical pharmacists, mental health practitioner).
We have an attached Pharmacy/Dispensary.
We use EMIS/GP team net/AccuRx.
The surgery is part of the Taunton Central PCN (1 of 5 practices). The surgery plays an active role within the PCN.
We have daily huddles to emphasise team working and good communication.
The practice has above average renumeration.
We encourage an informal visit to meet our friendly team.
