The Practice is looking to recruit a 4 to 6 session salaried GP to work with our well-organised and supportive practice team.
Bishops Road Medical Centre is a long-established practice with a stable list size of 8,300 patients across two sites. We value a supportive working environment.
Key features are:
- Currently 5 GPs (3 Partners, 2 salaried)
- Budding GP training practice. Trainees anticipated late 2023
- 18 patient contacts in AM and 15 in PM. Oncalls shared equitably.
- Low demand for home visits, which are shared equitably.
- Standard BMA contract
- Skilled nursing team (1 practice nurse, 1 HCA)
- Cluster Pharmacist
- LHB provided Mental Health Nurse and 1st contact Physio
- High achievers of QaiF, enhanced services and prescribing indicators.
- Clinical system - EMIS
- Minimal paperwork due to workflow optimisation embedded within the admin team.
- Main and branch site, ideally situated with easy access to the city centre and the M4 corridor.
- Cardiff West cluster
- Personal development and clinical interests encouraged and supported
The successful candidate will be dedicated, innovative and committed to providing a high standard of clinical care.
Anticipated working days: Monday to Wednesday.
Salary: £negotiable
