A rare opportunity has arisen to join Bearsted Medical Practice as a 6-8 session GP. We’re a friendly and supportive 8 Partner practice looking for a new GP to join our enthusiastic team.
Based in the pretty semi-rural outskirts of Maidstone, Kent, we provide a high level of care for 15,200 registered patients. We are a training practice and also run a dispensary for 2000 dispensing patients.
Our team consists of 8 GP Partners, 2 registrars, 2 paramedics, a clinical pharmacist, 5 nurses and 3 HCAs. We have a strong sense of working together with our administrators and receptionists playing a vital role in supporting the clinical team on a daily basis.
We operate a daily triage system to ensure that care is prioritised based on clinical need. The clinical system is EMIS Web and we use Docman, Doris and accuRx. Clinical sessions involve both face-to-face and remote appointments.
The practice is part of The Ridge Primary Care Network, which incorporates practices at Lenham, Sutton Valence and Langley.
