Practice Nurse Vacancy
Due to our surgery expanding, we are looking for a Practice Nurse to join our team. We are looking to cover full-time hours but can negotiate for part-time and we can be flexible with hours/days for the right candidate. The position offers a very competitive salary, generous annual leave and access to the NHS Pension Scheme. Experience of working within General Practice is essential. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a primary care nursing role and knowledge of all aspects of primary care nursing including long term conditions, immunization & vaccinations, travel vaccinations and smears. Qualifications in minor illness / independent prescribing will be considered favorably.
De Montfort Surgery is based next to De Montfort University, in the heart of Leicester city and provides services to both student and non-student populations with a practice list of 19,500 patients. We are part of Orion PCN and work collaboratively and effectively with our local partners in general practice, the community and social care.
