We have an exciting opportunity for a clinical pharmacist to work at a large training practice in Maidstone serving 12,000 patients. We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic clinical pharmacist/prescribing pharmacist to complement our team.
The successful candidate will be joining a friendly growing team in a supportive environment with a pharmacy technician and prescribing clerk apart from administrative team who assists the clinical team in managing their workload.
We are a forward-thinking team and are happy to embrace new ideas or ways of working.
The responsibilities of the pharmacist include:
- Working as a part of the multidisciplinary team in providing patient-facing roles and telephone consultations to provide high-quality, integrated patient care.
- Undertake medication reviews to include proactively managing patients.
- Assist patients with queries and concerns regarding their medication or prescriptions.
- Undertake activities in quality improvement and aid achievement of some aspects of the quality and outcomes framework and enhanced services.
Applicants who are willing to complete further training in both independent prescribing and minor illness will be considered. In case of prescribing pharmacist, an opportunity to train further to become an advanced health practitioner will be considered.
